Invoicing
All our prices are in Euros and DO NOT include valued added tax, which is 20% by Italian laws and shipping charges which vary from country to country.
All orders addressed to countries in the European Economic Community (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Holland, Denmark, Ireland, United Kingdom, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Finnland, Sweden, Cyprus, Estonia, Lettonia, Lituania, Malta, Poland, Cech. Republic, Slovacchia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania) according to Italian laws, will have to pay 20% valued added tax. This will be calculated automatically when you will conferm your order.
Orders addressed outside the European Economic Community will be shipped tax free ( but remember that you will be charged custom duty by your own country-see next paragraph).
For tax-free shipment within the European Economic Community, we will require a proof of your valid Vat Registration Number.
In any case, shipping charges are tax-free.
Duty (for all countries outside the European Economic Community)
Custom duty and applicable fees will be assessed on your purchase. The recipient will have to pay these charges separately when package is delivered and these fees will depend upon the laws of your country.
If you need more information, you can contact your nearest Customs Office.
Shipping
We ship our goods either by Registered mail or TNT carrier. All the shipping costs are to be paid by the customer. No packaging costs are charged.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Arabesque by Claire are made persuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for losses, delays or damage which might occur during shipment.
Payment
We accept two kinds of payment:
- With credit card (PAYPAL system)
- With anticipated bank transfer (in this case your order will be shipped only when we receive copy of payment either by email or fax)
Credit card orders are completely managed by PAYPAL, which is one of the most secure payment techniques available on the internet.

For customers outside the Euro area, we recommend that you pay with a credit card as a bank transfer might be expensive, take some time to arrive at destination and you will have to deal with exchange rates. Credit card will do that automatically.
Delivery
We avail ourselves of a "traffic light system" which will let you know if the product that you have chosen is available or not:
- Green light = in stock
- Red light = momentarely not in stock
- Orange light = few items left
When products are in stock your order will be shipped as soon as possible(within 3 working days) unless otherwise specified.
All items momentarely out of stock will be sent out when available and we will let you know by email.
We will not ship partial orders unless requested. Otherwise you will have to pay the shipping charges twice.
Providing Correct Information
The user is obliged to give correct information at time of registration. You may not use a false email address or impersonate any person or entity. If personal data such as name, address, telephone number, email address should change, the user should inform Arabesque by Claire immediately by correcting the data on the online shop registration form.
Please make sure that you data is correct and complete at all times; we cannot ship orders that have incomplete address!!
Password and Account
To order from the online shop, user's email address and password of his choice are necessary.Once the user has registered he will not need to do so in future visits to the shop and orders will then be shipped to the previous given address. User's email address and password also give him access to his prsonal data stored in the shop databank.
The user of this shop is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account and password and agrees to accept responsibility for all the activities that occur within his account and password.
